Topic Work
English is the medium of education at Greengates and much emphasis is placed on widening the children's understanding and use of the language. Every term new topics are chosen in each class and the discussions and class work that evolve around these widen the children's vocabulary and general knowledge.
Religions
A respect and understanding of different faiths is important to us all. We celebrate Christmas, Idd, Diwali, Hanuka.
Staff
All our class teachers hold a Kindergarten Headmistress' Association
Kindergarten Teacher Diploma in Early Childhood Education
The Learning Support Teacher has an additional Hornsby Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties.
Every class teacher has a class assistant with her.

Pupils are covered by an accident insurance policy with AIG Insurance.
AAR Ambulance Service and their paramedics are at our disposal should we require their help.
